We asked Tangram 3DS, an internationally recognized 3D computer graphics and animation company, to produce realistic renderings to convey the excitement and majesty of what the aircraft carrier John F. Kennedy would look like in Coddington Cove.
The USS John F. Kennedy Project could not be where we are today without the years put into trying to acquire the USS Saratoga, and the dedicated men and women who helped try to make that happen. For that reason, we hosted a farewell ceremony at the ship on August 8, 2014, at the Officer’s Club and directly at Pier One, Naval Station Newport.
On Tuesday, September 3, 2013, the Middletown Town Council voted to officially endorse the USS John F. Kennedy Project’s proposal to bring Big John to Rhode Island.
