Middletown council reconvening to discuss USS JFK; Navy expresses public interest in saving her

Two articles about the project were published in the Newport Daily News this weekend. One highlights the fact that the Middletown Town Council will be reconvening Tuesday, September 3 to discuss, for the second time in two weeks, the possibility of the USS John F. Kennedy being permanently berthed in their town. We are thrilled at the positive responses we are getting so far, and look forward to this evening’s dicussion.
